HARD CANDY 
Powdered sugar
3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Karo light corn syrup
1 c. water
1 tsp. Lorann flavoring
Desired food coloring
Sprinkle 1 x 24 inch strip of heavy duty foil with powdered sugar. Mix
next 3 ingredients in large heavy saucepan. Stir over medium heat until
sugar dissolves. Boil, without stirring, until temperature reaches 310
degrees or until syrup reaches hard ball stage when dropped in cold water.Remove from heat. Stir in coloring and flavor. Pour onto foil. Cool;
break in pieces. Store in airtight containers. Makes 2 1/4 lb.
