VINCI'S PERFECT PIE CRUST | |
4 c. flour 1 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. salt 1 3/4 c. solid Crisco 1 tbsp. white vinegar 1 lg. egg 1/2 c. water Mix dry ingredients (do not sift flour) with Crisco until crumbly. Beat water, vinegar and egg. Add to flour mixture. Chill for 2 hours before rolling. Makes 2 (9") crusts (doubled). NOTE: This crust freezes. |
