SOURDOUGH FLAPJACKS | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 1/4 c. lukewarm water 2 c. lukewarm milk 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 3 eggs, well beaten 1/4 c. melted butter 2 1/2 c. flour Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add milk, sugar, salt, eggs and butter. Gradually beat in flour until batter is consistency of thick cream. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Beat batter and spoon onto preheated, slightly greased griddle. Brown, turn and brown other side. Serve hot with heated syrup. |
