PINEAPPLE NUT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 sm. can chopped walnuts

Beat the sugar, eggs and cooking oil together. Sift the flour, salt and baking soda together and add to the mixture. Add the pineapple and half can of nuts. Blend well. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

PINEAPPLE NUT CAKE ICING:

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Boil the sugar, butter and milk for one minute. Remove from heat and add vanilla and nuts. Pour over cake while still in pan.
