GREAT MEXICAN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 (8 oz.) can water
1 (16 oz.) can chili beans or kidney beans
1 tsp. chili powder
Salt & pepper to taste
3/4 bag Fritos, reg. size
Grated cheese (enough to cover)
Shredded lettuce

If you use chili beans use gravy. If you use kidney beans, drain them. Brown meat and drain. Add beans of your choice, tomato sauce, spices and water. Simmer until heated thoroughly.

Place chips in 3 quart casserole. Pour meat mixture over chips. Add cheese and top with lettuce. Place a lid on and be ready to serve immediately.
