1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream shortening and peanut butter. Gradually add brown sugar, creaming very well. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Blend in dry ingredients gradually; mix well.

Shape into balls a rounded ball of dough. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with floured fork. Bake in oven (375 degrees) for 10-12 minutes.
