BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
4 lb. spareribs, cracked and cut into 1 rib portions
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix
1 1/2 c. water
1/3 c. honey
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. sherry
1 tbsp. sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. ginger

Boil ribs 30-45 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients. Add ribs to mixture. Marinate 2 hours or overnight. Prepare grill. Cook over barbecue grill 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until tender and crisp. Turn and baste occasionally.

NOTE: May also be done in oven at 350 degrees. Roast 1 1/4 hours or until tender and crisp.
