PECAN CRISPIES 
1/2 c. softened butter
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar until light; beat in egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients. Stir in nuts. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake about 10 minutes at 375°F. Cool slightly before removing from pan.

Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
