PECAN CRISPIES 
1/2 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. nuts

Cream shortening, butter and sugar; add eggs. Beat well. Add flour and nuts. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven until lightly browned.
