BOILED CUSTARD 
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
Little salt
Vanilla

Beat above ingredients with egg beater. Scald (not boil) 1 1/2 cups milk in double boiler. Stir in egg mixture and cook until smooth (until mixture coats spoon - about 7-10 minutes - don't let it boil). Flavor with vanilla. When cool, pour over sliced bananas or oranges in dessert dishes. Delicious!
