3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. uncooked quick or instant farina (or cream of wheat)
1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar in large bowl; add egg and beat well. Add flour, baking powder, salt, farina, raisins and vanilla; mix well. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet.
