TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drain and reserve juice
4 c. diced, unpeeled, red delicious apples
1 c. salted peanuts
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip

Combine flour and sugar; mix well. Beat egg and add to flour and sugar. Add vinegar and juice; cook until thick. Cool. Pour cooled dressing over apples, pineapple, and peanuts. Fold in Cool Whip. Sprinkle additional peanuts over top for garnish.
