FLUFFY BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour (or extra white flour)
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk

Mix flours, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Add egg and milk. Once mixed, knead lightly on floured surface. Roll or pat gently to 1 inch thickness. Cut into biscuits. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
