1 German chocolate cake mix
1 c. (sm. bag) chocolate chips
1 pkg. crushed pecans
1 pkg. caramels
1/2 c. milnot

Melt caramels in milnot on stove. Make cake mix as usual. Bake half of mix in a 9x13 inch pan for 10 minutes. Pour caramels, chips, and nuts on it. Add other half of cake mix and finish baking. This cake can be frosted or plain.
