COOKED CREAMY FONDANT 
2 c. white sugar
1 c. water
Pinch of salt
Pinch of cream of tartar
1 tbsp. real butter
Vanilla
2 tbsp. white syrup

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Do not stir. Cook until it spins a thread. Pour in mixing bowl; cool; beat until it sets. It will set instantly so keep an eye on mixture while beating. Wrap in wax paper and aluminum foil to age (1 day). Mold into what ever shapes desired. If you want to make (or varied) flavors just add desired flavoring and coloring instead of vanilla.
