1/2 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1/4 c. sour cream or yogurt 3/4 c. reg. rolled oats 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. chopped pecans 1 c. finely chopped dates 1/2 c. raisins 1. Cream the butter until light and fluffy. Beat in sugar slowly. When blended, beat in the vanilla, egg and sour cream. 2. In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, baking soda, flour, and cinnamon. Beat into the wet ingredients. 3. Stir in the pecans, dates and raisins. 4. Drop by teaspoons onto lightly greased baking sheets. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. 6. Let cookies set for a few minutes before removing to a rack to cool. 4 dozen. |
