YULETIDE DROPS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. dairy sour cream
1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. finely snipped dates
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped candied cherries
Halved candied cherries

Cream butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy. Stir in sour cream. Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, salt and cloves; stir into creamed mixture. Mix in oats, pecans, dates, raisins and chopped cherries.

Drop from rounded tsp. 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Top each cookie with a halved cherry. Bake in 350 degree oven 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet; cool on rack. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
