MUSH (PURE) 
1 c. cold water
1 c. cornmeal
3 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt

Mix the cold water with the cornmeal stir into the boiling water and add salt and stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boiling with large bubbles. Cook, stirring for 10 minutes then place in greased loaf pan and chill. Turn out and slice and fry or serve with milk and sugar.
