LAZY DAZY MUSH 
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oats (uncooked)
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Pour boiling water over oats. Let stand for 20 minutes. Beat butter until creamy; add sugar and eggs. Beat until fluffy; add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together; add to creamed mixture. Add oats; pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees, 50 to 55 minutes.
