1/4 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
2 c. flour

Blend in 1/4 cup Crisco, 1 cup sugar and 1 egg. Add 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract and 2 cups flour. Mix. Chill. After chilling, roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness on floured board or pastry cloth. Cut and bake in oven at 400 degrees for 7-10 minutes.
