BUTTERSCOTCH DESSERT 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. pecans (optional)

Mix and press in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool.

2ND LAYER:

1 c. Cool Whip
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar

Mix and place on top of crust.

3RD LAYER:

2 pkgs. instant butterscotch pudding
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. brown sugar

Mix and pour on top. Top with Cool Whip. Refrigerate.
