CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. fudge cake mix
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. vanilla
2 beaten eggs

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 15"x10" jelly roll or 9"x13" cake pan.

In large bowl, combine the cake ingredients, stir until well blended. Pour into prepared pan. Jelly roll pan takes 20 to 30 minutes, cake pan takes 25 to 30 minutes. Test with a toothpick to be sure it's done. (Toothpick stuck in center should come out clean.)

In a small saucepan combine the first three frosting ingredients. Boil one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth and melted. Pour over bars. Makes about 2 dozen bars.
