1 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
8 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar until creamy. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla, flour, and eggs; beat well. Makes 2 loaf pans or 1 tube pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
