GRANMA'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES | |
The old standby, a favorite for grandchildren. 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened 1 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup plus 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Preheat oven to 375°F. Beat butter in bowl at medium speed until well creamed. Slowly add sugar, egg and vanilla, beating until light and fluffy. Stir dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture gradually. Add chocolate chips and mix. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375°F for about 10 minutes. Submitted by: C. A. Burke |
