PEACH BREAD 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. fresh peach puree
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs; mix well. Stir in peaches. Add cinnamon, soda, baking powder, salt, flour and mix well. Blend in vanilla and pecans. Pour into greased loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes or until bread tests done. Yield: 2 loaves.
