LEMONADE COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (6 oz.) can lemonade (thawed)

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Beat until light and fluffy. Sift flour and soda together. Add alternately to creamed mixture with 1/2 cup lemonade.

Drop by teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375-400 degrees for 7 minutes, or until lightly browned at edges. Lightly brush hot cookies with lemonade. Sprinkle with granulated sugar.

I use 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup Buttery Crisco.
