1 c. shortening
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. milk

Combine shortening and dry ingredients together as for pie crust. Add sugar, milk and vanilla to eggs. Add this mixture to dry ingredients and mix well. Roll dough very thin. Cut with heart shaped cookie cutter. Bake 375 degree oven 8-10 minutes. Frost and put a candy heart in the center of cookie.
