SIX WEEK BRAN MUFFINS 
3 c. all bran cereal
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. sugar (I use only 2/3 c.)
2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
Dash of orange rind, nutmeg or whatever
1/3 c. molasses
1 c. raisins

Pour boiling water over 1 cup cereal and let stand. Mix all other ingredients and add to the above. Cover and store in refrigerator overnight before baking. Oil muffin tins. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Use as desired.
