STEWED PORK CHOPS 
4-6 pork chops, medium thickness
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 sm. onion
1 soup can of water
About 2 tbsp. butter

Brown pork chops lightly in butter. Drain off fat. Chop or slice onion and spread on chops. Separately mix soup and water. Pour over pork chops, bring to a boil. Cover and simmer until tender, approximately 90 minutes. Good with mashed potatoes.
