GERMAN APPLE CAKE | |
2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 1 c. oil 2 eggs 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 4 c. raw apples, chopped 1/2 c. chopped pecans Mix dry ingredients; set aside. Mix eggs, oil and pecans. Add flour mixture in by hand. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 45-60 minutes at 350 degrees. ICING: 2 sticks butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. milk Pecans Coconut Bring to boil. Boil 5 minutes. Spread on cake. Note: I halved this icing recipe. |
