VANILLA COOKIES:

3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350°F

Mix all ingredients together. Using a 2 tablespoon scooper, place on cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes. Let fully cool before adding Lemon Drizzle.

LEMON DRIZZLE:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
zest of 1 lemon
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice

Mix all ingredients together. Place Lemon Drizzle on top of vanilla cookies.

Store in a cool place.

Makes 24 cookies.
