ANDES SHRIMP AND CORN MAIN -
DISH CHOWDER
 
1/4 c. chopped green onions
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
1/8 tbsp. cayenne pepper
1 tbsp. butter
2 cans cream of potato soup (condensed)
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 soup cans milk
2 c. frozen, cleaned raw shrimp
1 (about 8 oz.) can whole kernel golden corn, undrained

In saucepan, cook onions with garlic and pepper in butter until tender. Blend in soup, cream cheese, and milk. Add shrimp and corn. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally. Makes about 7 cups.
