ICE CREAM WITHOUT A FREEZER | |
1 c. whole milk 1 c. thick cream 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. sugar 2/3 c. salt 1/2 c. water Ice In a 1 pound coffee can put sugar, milk, cream and vanilla. Cover with lid. Place the 1 pound coffee can in a 3 pound coffee can. Surround with ice. Then pour salt and water over ice. Cover with lid. Then roll coffee can back and forth briskly for 10 minutes. Then scrape off ice cream on the side of the can. Cover and roll the can 5 more minutes. Then eat. Serves 2. |
