EGG, SPINACH, BACON SPECIAL | |
2 lbs. sm. curd cottage cheese 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen spinach, drain well 12 slices Kraft Old English cheese, or sm. pkg. 1 stick butter 5 tbsp. flour, mix with 6 beaten eggs 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tsp. salt (cut down) 1/8 tsp. pepper 12 slices bacon, fried very crisp Thaw spinach in colander; drain very well. Cut cheese and butter into chunks. Mix all together except bacon. Put in 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Break bacon into bits. Sprinkle evenly on top. Return to oven a few minutes. Remove and let set before slicing. Enjoy! |
