LASAGNA CASSEROLE 
1 c. chopped onion
1 green pepper, cut in strips
2 tbsp. butter
1-1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1 qt. or 1 can (1 lb. 12 oz.) whole tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can uncooked wide noodles
1 (8 oz.) pkg. mozzarella sliced cheese
1 pkg. shredded mozzarella cheese

In Dutch oven, saute chopped onion and green pepper in butter for 3 minutes. Add ground chuck and brown meat, breaking up meat with spoon as it cooks. Add salt, pepper and sugar. Stir in tomatoes and tomato sauce. Heat mixture to boiling, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan, layer tomato meat mixture and uncooked noodles. Top with sliced cheese as you layer meat and noodles. Make sure noodles are well covered by sauce. Then top with shredded cheese. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Cut and serve.
