ITALIAN LAYER SALAD 
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sour cream
3/4 c. tomato & herbed spaghetti sauce
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
5 c. fresh spinach, torn in bite size pieces, divided
2 c. cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
2 c. diced salami
4 hard cooked eggs, sliced
1 1/2 c. sliced zucchini
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced (2 3/4 c.)
1/2 lb. bacon fried crisp & crumbled

Prepare dressing by mixing together mayonnaise, sour cream, spaghetti sauce and minced garlic; set aside.

In a 3 quart glass bowl layer 1/2 of spinach, tomatoes and salami, arrange hard cooked eggs in a desired pattern. Pour on half of the dressing. Layer the remaining spinach, mushrooms and zucchini and cover with the remaining dressing, making sure it reaches the edge of the bowl. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon, cover and refrigerate overnight. Bring to room temperature before serving. Yield: 8.
