TURKEY TETRAZZINI | |
2 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 c. chicken broth 1 c. half & half 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, cooked 2 c. chopped turkey or chicken 1 can sliced mushrooms, drained 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese Place 2 tablespoons butter in small bowl. Microwave at high (100%) for 45-60 minutes or until melted. Stir in bread crumbs; set aside. Place 1/4 cup butter in 2 quart casserole. Microwave on high (100%) until butter melts. Blend flour, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper into butter. Stir in broth and half & half. Microwave at medium high (70%) for 8-9 minutes or until mixture thickens, stirring every 2 minutes. Stir in spaghetti, turkey, mushrooms, and Parmesan cheese. Cover and microwave at medium high (70%) for 5-6 minutes or until heated through, stirring once. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Microwave at medium high (70%) for approximately 2 minutes until hot. Serves 4-6. |
