FRENCH SILK PIE 
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. butter
1 c. and 1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 (8") baked pie shell
Whipped cream (optional)

Melt chocolate and cool. Cream butter and sugar together. Add chocolate and vanilla and mix. Add 1 egg at a time, beating 4 minutes per egg at medium speed on the electric mixer. Pour into baked pie shell. Refrigerate for several hours before serving. Top with layer of whipped cream.
