FROZEN CABBAGE SLAW 
1 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. mustard seed
Enough cabbage for an 8-10 c. salad
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. bell pepper, carrots or pimento for color (all optional)
Onions (optional)

Mix together and boil for 5 minutes vinegar, sugar, mustard seed, pepper and water. Cool. Pour over vegetables and mix well. Freeze in individual or larger servings. To serve: Thaw completely and add mayonnaise to desired consistency.
