STEAK AND ONIONS 
1 lb. lean meat (a few more oz. if you prefer)
2 lbs. onions
8 oz. ketchup
1 dash or 2 of Maggi or Kitchen Bouquet
1 tsp. salt
Pepper lightly

Cut up the meat into "tid-bit" size, 3/8ths to 1/2-inch size. Cut onions coarsely. Place all ingredients into pot. Heat slowly and stir often to avoid burning. After being brought to a brisk boil, turn down the heat and allow to simmer for about 1 hour. For sandwiches, a steamed bun is recommended. For lunch or dinner "plate" serve on bread.
