CANDY APPLE SALAD | |
4 c. chopped Granny Smith apples 1/2 c. sugar 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip 1 tbsp. flour 1 egg 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 1 c. salted dry roasted peanuts (chopped) Mix flour and sugar in saucepan. Add pineapple, scrambled egg, apple cider vinegar. Stir over medium heat until thickened. Refrigerate until cool. Fold mixture into Cool Whip, then fold in apples and 1/2 cup peanuts. Sprinkle remaining peanuts on top when ready to serve. |
