BEEF STROGANOFF | |
1 1/2 c. diced onion 6 oz. mushrooms 3 tbsp. flour 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 can Campbell beef condensed soup 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. butter 1 can beef consomme (Campbell soup) 1 lb. round steak or sirloin 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tsp. onion salt 1 c. sour cream 1 pkg. egg noodles Cut meats in strips. Melt butter and brown meat, onion and mushrooms. Sprinkle with flour and stir until disappears. Stir in soups and spices and cook slow about 1 hour or until tender. Add water or more soup if necessary. Before serving stir in sour cream. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Serve over wide noodles or rice. |
