PAN FRUIT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
4 eggs
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 can cherry pie filling (or apple, peach, etc.)

Grease and flour 9x13 pan.

Spread 3/4 of batter in pan, spread the pie filling over the batter.

Add remaining batter by dropping in spoonfuls over pie filling.

Batter will blend together while baking.

When cool sprinkle with powdered sugar.
