BAKED FRENCH ONION SOUP 
6 med. yellow onions (med. slices)
1/4 c. butter
6 c. beef stock or beef broth
1/2 c. white wine
1/2 c. burgundy wine
1/2 c. sherry
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
16 slices Swiss cheese
8 slices French bread (1" thick), toasted & buttered
Paprika
Granulated garlic
Parmesan cheese

Slice onions. Saute in butter over low heat until golden brown (clear in appearance). Add beef broth, all wines, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until onions very tender (1/2 hour to 45 minutes). Toast and butter French bread. Sprinkle with garlic, cheese and paprika.
