EASY BROCCOLI SOUP 
1/2 of 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
1/2 c. thinly sliced carrot
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
1 c. milk
1/2 c. shredded American cheese (2 oz.)
1/2 c. chopped cooked chicken OR finely chopped fully cooked ham
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour

In a 1-quart casserole combine the frozen chopped broccoli, thinly sliced carrot, the 1/2 cup water, and instant chicken bouillon granules. Micro-cook, covered, on 100% power for 5 to 7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender, stirring once.

To the vegetables in the 1-quart casserole, stir in the milk, shredded American cheese, chopped chicken or finely chopped ham, and pepper. In a small bowl stir together the 1/4 cup water and flour; stir into the vegetable-cheese mixture in the casserole. Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power about 5 minutes or until the mixture is thickened and bubbly, stirring every minute. Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power for 30 seconds more. Makes 2 servings.
