CREME DE MENTHE MOUSSE | |
20 lg. marshmallows, cut up 1/4 c. milk 2 to 3 tbsp. creme de menthe 1 c. heavy cream Unsweetened whipped cream Stir marshmallows and milk in small saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth. Stir in creme de menthe. Chill until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from a spoon. In small chilled bowl or mixer, whip heavy cream until stiff. Add marshmallow mixture and beat until well blended and stiff enough to shape. Mound mixture on chilled serving plate and with back of spoon shape as desired. (If not stiff enough, chill over ice.) Or spoon into individual dessert glasses. Garnish with dollops of whipped cream and shredded chocolate and mint sprigs. Serves 6. |
