BRISKET 
3 lb. brisket
16 oz. can tomato sauce
1 pkg. instant onion soup (Lipton)
1/2 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Pout 1/4 cup of water in roasting pan and place brisket in the pan. Pour tomato sauce over met and then sprinkle the instant onion soup over the brisket. Pour the remainder of the water on top of the meat; salt and pepper to taste. Bake t 325 degrees for 2-3 hours. Check for taste and tenderness. Good with carrots and potatoes. You can bake these with the meat in the pan. Use the meat juice for gravy.
