GRANOLA 
4 c. rolled oats
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. wheat germ
1 c. wheat bran
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. dry milk
1 c. sunflower seeds
1 1/2 c. raisins (or chopped dried apples, dates, or apricots)
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. peanut butter (optional)
2 tbsp. molasses (optional)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Combine oats, flour, wheatgerm, bran, nuts, milk, and seeds in a large mixing bowl. Stir to mix. Combine, separately in a sauce pan, the honey, oil, water, brown sugar, (peanut butter and molasses, if desired) vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Heat over medium to dissolve. Pour over dry ingredients. Stir to coat all the dry ingredients. Divide into 2 ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool, then add 3/4 cup raisins to each pan. Dried apples, dates, and apricots may also be added.
