BOILED DINNER 
Ham bone with meat
1 bay leaf
1 sm. rutabaga
1 bag carrots
1 med. onion
Pepper
Oregano
3 lb. potatoes
1/2 stalk celery
Basil

Soak ham bone in water; add rutabaga, carrots, onion, celery (cut and diced to your liking). Cook on low all day with spices included. About an hour before serving, add potatoes and thicken with cornstarch (3 tablespoons mixed in 1 cup water).
