APPLE - WALNUT COBBLER 
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
2 1/2 c. apple slices
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 well beaten egg
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. butter

Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and 1/2 cup walnuts. Place apples in bottom of greased 8 inch round pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture. Mix dry ingredients. Combine egg, milk, and butter; add dry ingredients all at once and mix until smooth. Pour over apples; sprinkle with remaining walnuts. Bake at 325 degrees about 50 minutes or until done. Cut in wedges. Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip. Best served warm. 8 servings.
